A Time of Conflict:

The Russian Revolution was a time of conflict in Russia during the early twentieth century. Starting with the overthrow of the monarchy in 1917, it ended with the Bolshevik rule and the creation of the Soviet Union in 1923. At the beginning of the Revolution, women played a very important role in getting the whole process started by protesting in the streets.
