Who built Tikal?


The ancient city of Tikal is in the Central American country of Guatemala. It was a thriving city, in the midst of a rainforest, sometime around 500 to 900 CE. It has palaces and temples, and in fact, one of the temples, the Temple of the Jaguar, is considered to be one of the tallest temples for that time-period.
