Where did Oda Nobunaga live?

Question:

Where did Oda Nobunaga live?

Oda Nobunaga:

For much of the sixteenth century, Japan lacked political unity. Oda Nobunaga began to unite the country when he began conquering and subjugating provinces in the middle decades of the century.

Answer and Explanation:

Nobunaga was from the province of Owari on the island of Honshu. After he had experienced military success and began capturing territory, however, he built a strong castle at Azuchi in 1576, which was near to Japan's capital city of Kyoto. This was his base while he attempted to bring political unity to Japan until his death in 1582.
