DNA Polymerase:

A series of reactions occur during the synthesis of the parent strand of a double-stranded DNA. Each reaction is accompanied by a specific enzyme for it to be spontaneous. These enzymes include helicase for the unwinding of the DNA molecule, DNA ligase for the sealing of the nick from two nucleotides in the phosphate backbone, and DNA gyrase to reduce the strain in the supercoiling of the DNA during synthesis. The heart of the DNA synthesis or replication is catalyzed by DNA polymerase.
