When I was a small child my dad would tell me to show him my muscle. I would smile and flex the muscles in my arm like a body builder. He would squeeze my biceps brachii in my upper arm and comment on how big I was getting. At that age I thought the only muscle in my body was that one special one my dad wanted to see when I flexed. I have since learned the names and function of many more muscles and muscle groups. I have also learned they each have a special function in the body.
