What is "chirality," and how can it be applied in chemistry or in the real world?


Chirality is another word for asymmetry which has no line of symmetry passing through, is called chirality. Enantiomers are always chiral they are not symmetric and they don't have symmetry even though the shape is the same and has molecular formula the same.

Chirality is seen in the supramolecular. It is mostly used to know the isomeric property of the molecule in the science subject. In terms of chemistry, carbon can be attached to the alkyl or aryl group if they are different then it will give rise to the enantiomeric isomers or molecule with mirror image.
