Generally, every cellular respiration has its unique end product. Among the various products produced during carbohydrate metabolism are lactic acid and metabolic water. Some of the lactic acid produced during anaerobic respiration is oxidized in the cells to produce carbon dioxide and water, although there is an intermediate process during its conversion.
