Eusebius of Caesarea (360/365-339/340 CE) was a Greek Christian historian known as the 'Father of Church History' for his works of religious history which helped define many of the sources that even modern historians have to use when talking about the time period from a religious perspective. He was at the time and afterwards suspected of having pro-Arian biases, but his works were too significant to entirely die off despite this fact, and so were preserved even into the middle age.s
