Question:
How do various ethical issues (systemic, corporate and individual ) affect the viability of an organization? Explain how the various issues affects the success of any organization.
Ethics:
Ethics and ethical guidelines are standards of practice that people and organizations determine to follow. While these standards may vary between organizations, most organizations adhere to some form of ethical decision making.
Answer and Explanation:
Ethical issues can present a number of issues for an organization. These issues often are more impactful than their moral grounds alone. For instance, if it is revealed that an organization made questionable ethical choices they could suffer a number of consequences from a public relations standpoint, a funding standpoint, and could inhibit future trust. This is why organizations must take care to behave ethically, not only because it is the right thing to do, but because it is necessary for long term self-preservation.
