Give 3 examples of applications of the conservation of angular momentum.

Question:

Give 3 examples of applications of the conservation of angular momentum.

Conservation of Angular Momentum:

The momentum of an object describes the quantity of motion in the object. Similarly, the quantity of rotational motion in an object is quantified by a physical quantity called angular momentum.

The law of conservation of angular momentum states that the total angular momentum of a system ( vector sum of the angular momentum of all the parts of the system) remains constant if the net external torque acting on the system is zero.
