Question:
Explain the following in brief with complete information and examples.
Newton's Second Law of Motion
Newton's First Law of Motion:
Newton's equations were formulated as a result of his observation of the phenomena that occurred around him. Newton appreciated that if no resultant force was exerted on a body, this body would remain in the same state indefinitely. This is known as Newton's first law.
The mathematical formulation of Newton's first law is:
$$\begin{align} \sum\vec{F} = \vec{0}\\ \vec{a} =\vec{0} \end{align} $$

Chapter 8 / Lesson 2Newton's Second Law of Motion is defined as Force = Mass * Acceleration, with mass being the total amount of matter present in an object and acceleration being the rate that velocity changes. This lesson examines the differences between a small sports car and a large SUV and how much force is needed to move each.
