Two Types Of Cells:

Cells are the tiny units that make up all living things. From a genetic standpoint, there are two types of cells: somatic cells and gametes. Gametes are reproductive cells and contain half of the total chromosomes, or genetic material. In males, gametes are sperm, and in females they are eggs. Somatic cells have a full set of chromosomes and make up all other parts of the body.
