Isentropic Efficiency:
An isentropic process is defined as the thermodynamic process during which the entropy of the system remains constant. All the reversible and adiabatic processes are isentropic process but all the isentropic processes may or may not be reversible and adiabatic. Here we will assume that the heat lost to the surrounding is negligible and the changes in kinetic and potential energy are also negligible.
