Are the steps of photosynthesis dependent on each other? If so, how?

Question:

Are the steps of photosynthesis dependent on each other? If so, how?

Photosynthesis:

Photosynthesis is the process by which plants generate energy. It starts when plants absorb carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight through holes in their leaves, called 'stomata'. Using the light energy of the sun, the molecules of carbon dioxide and water rearrange to form glucose and oxygen. The rearranging process happens inside the plant's chloroplast. This process is the basis of all life on Earth! Without photosynthesis, there would be no transfer of energy between organisms, and humans would not be able to breathe.
