We've probably all heard the phrase "terrible twos", toddlers are learning all about emotions and often have hard times regulating and expressing their emotions. As children grow they learn the age and culturally appropriate way to express their emotions and react to certain situations. However, some people despite their age may still exhibit difficulties processing their emotions and acting appropriately for their age. People with personality disorders have these problems, they act, think and behave differently than those without the disorder, and in ways that disrupt their lives.
